2010-W Silver Dollar Disabled Veterans Dollar GEM Proof Commemorative Coin
A tribute to courage, resilience, and sacrifice, the 2010-W $1 Disabled Veterans Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar stands as a lasting symbol of gratitude to the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and bear the wounds of battle.
A Design Honoring Heroism
The obverse of this poignant coin features a powerful image of the legs of three disabled veterans, a striking representation of their perseverance and commitment. Above them, the inscription “They Stood Up For Us” reinforces the profound impact of their sacrifice. Accompanying this message are the words “Liberty,” “In God We Trust,” and the year 2010.
The reverse design is equally compelling, featuring a wreath adorned with a forget-me-not flower—a symbol of remembrance. The inscription encircling the design reads:
“Take This Moment to Honor Our Disabled Defenders of Freedom”—a solemn call to never forget their service.
