Latest news of the world of larimar

On May 2, 2022 the department of Mining and Energy of the Dominican Republic closed the Larimar mine down due to the recent death of three local miners this year.

The Larimar Mine is divided in two sections the lower section with includes the main tunnel that is named la Filipinas. Inside the main tunnel there are approximately 18 working holes. Each hole has it’s own individual owner or owners. Any investor can have up to five holes in the tunnel. The top section of the mine is called Bahoruco, it is approximately 200 feet higher in altitude than the Filipinas mine and it consist of approximately 25 individual holes. (read more)
